Designing a fireplace.

In this living room renovation I designed the fireplace and bookshelves  as the focal point. I designed the mantel and moldings in a ziggurat style to give the room a modern/classical identification with a white carrara marble fireplace surround.The accent lighting highlights the color and accessories.  A dark area has become an inviting one with gold as the primary color and off-white and light grey as a subtle contrast.
