Traditional Office Updated to Contemporary

A traditional room for a psychiatrist is updated with small modern side chairs covered with straw fabric and a cushion of ultrasuede in a color to match the newly painted fireplace. In an old colonial house this awkward angled fireplace wall with a door on either side becomes an inviting focal point with a custom cotton textured rug in an hexagonal shape. The square coffee table centers the space.
